#2 The importance of body language
Today, I want to share some information about body language.
The COVID-19 pandemic changed not only the way we live, but also the way we learn.
After having an online class, I found some information about body language and read the article called 8 Top Tips For Improving Your Body Language During Virtual Meetings.
The importance of body language is that it assists us in understanding what the person is saying. Body language also helps interpret peoples’ moods and emotions.
After attending many online meetings and presentations, I think Hand gestures and Smile are two of the important aspects of body language I want to improve the most.
《Hand gestures》
Use your hands when you are speaking to others throughout the meetings. This makes it seem like you are confident and enthusiastic about the conversation you are having.
《Smile and nod》
Make sure your classmates know you are present and listening by smiling and nodding throughout the conversation.
This will enable the conversation to run smoothly and be positive from the start to the finish.
Also, it is best to avoid touching the face and playing with your hair when attending a virtual meeting as you don’t want to come across as uncomfortable or nervous!
Thank you for listening, and I hope you all enjoyed it.☺
See you next time!♡♡♡
